Summary
King Viserys makes one unexpected choice: instead of sending his heir into a political marriage, he grants Rhaenyra the husband she has always wanted.
Daemon Targaryen.
With the Rogue Prince at her side, Rhaenyra gains more than a consort—she gains her fiercest protector, closest confidant, and the father of her children. Together they build a family that even their enemies cannot deny, proving that love and loyalty can be the strongest foundations of a dynasty.
While some boast of keeping the peace and others hide behind piety, Daemon and Rhaenyra show the realm what true rulers look like: united, devoted, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect their family, their dragons, and their legacy.
One marriage changes everything. The Dance was never destined to begin.

Summary
The Dance of the Dragons was a term used to describe the three years between the reign of Viserys I and Rhaenyra I, after Viserys the butcher killed his first wife, the princess married Prince Daemon, the king’s younger brother and lord paramount of the narrow seas, after she found the king with her former handmaiden, Alicent Hightower.
However Otto Hightower should have known that he was not the only one who could send a daughter to ensnare the king, for Cassandra was even more charming than his daughter.
When Alicent and Cassandra both have sons born on the same day, the realm holds its breath. Their sons Aemond the Terrible and Aenar the fool set the realm on fire trying to wear their father’s crown.
In the end, the black queen wins the throne that two families kill each other for. Queen Rhaenyra rises from the ashes of House Hightower and House Baratheon

Summary
History remembers Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen. History remembers all the steps and all the years of their ungainly dance. History remembers how, in the end, their blood always warmed the Iron Throne and heralded in the Song of Ice and Fire. It is known.
It is not known, however, what would have happened if their dance had no missteps, if their union had come through earlier, and if their hatchlings took flight near the same time as the Greens. It is not known, either, what would have happened if all of their children were not simply children, but blood-of-their-blood from the future, from the far past, and even from a world gone by. There might still be a Dance, though probably not the same Dance. And in the end, those fit to remain shall remain, and those who are unneeded shall not be kept.
Mostly Bookverse. Crack Treated Seriously.
