Summary
Ranpo had a delayed reaction at first, jerking the swing to a stop and holding his hand tight. He looked around for a second before spotting the kid whose hair it landed in. That one didn't surprise Ranpo.
He watched the still child reach a hand up to grab the sucker and raggedy ponytail they had in their hair, but the candy wouldn't budge from the looks of unsuccessful tugging.
Ranpo began to feel uneasy when he saw the kid tug harder, rip out a few pieces of hair, flail their hands, and drop a notebook that had been secured against the kid's chest. It was only when he heard screaming and saw tears from under a mop of hair covering the face otherwise, that Ranpo didn't know what to do.

“What’s it called?” Angel asks, picking the glass up and taking a tentative sip.
“It’s a Slow Comfortable Screw.”
He’s glad he didn’t take a full mouthful, snerking and slapping a hand over his mouth as he holds in his laughter, wiping his face before he takes a proper drink and sets it down. Sweet but still strong, just how he likes it.
“Is that right? That what you’re lookin’ to do to me?”
“Nah,” the cat grins widely, setting the glass he’d been wiping down. “My break’s only a half hour, don’t got the time for all that.”
Oh. Oh fuck. Why did that get him so badly? Angel’s face blooms pink as he laughs and grabs the drink again, drinking it faster. Is this bartender really trying to fuck Angel on his break? That’s so fucking hot. He might just let him.
