Summary
Calliope Mondegrene has always felt like a bit of an alien among her fellow humans. A nerdy self-proclaimed loser sleepwalking through life in a Bostonian triplex, her introversion seems to be boundless, to the point where it leads her to avoid social interaction at the parties she's forced to attend--by getting really, really, high.
Too high, it turns out, when she sees--and is seen by--something beyond her understanding that, for some unfathomable reason, takes an interest in her sad little life.

Summary
I tell her it's over. She agrees. The empty feeling is big enough to swallow me and in this moment I think it does.
We stare for what feels like years, decades, centuries as I wonder why I ever gave a fuck about anyone in my life ever. They leave to hurt you. They hurt you to punish you. They hurt you to feel good about themselves. They hurt you because they can.
I never wished more than now that I could be that person again, the one that does the hurting. My cheek still stings.

Summary
A collection of late-night ficlets exploring obsession, isolation, and the people we think about when we shouldn't.
These are the 3AM thoughts. The unsent texts. The phone calls that don't happen. Characters who are bad for each other but can't look away. Love that feels more like drowning. The space between wanting someone and actually reaching out.
No redemption arcs. No healthy communication. Just the raw, uncomfortable truth of what it feels like to need someone who's destroying you; or who you're destroying.
Featuring various Class of '09 characters in moments of desperation, fixation, and the kind of honesty that only comes when you're alone and it's too late to call anyone.
Not all love is good love. Sometimes it's just two people awake at the same time, thinking about each other, and doing nothing about it.
Content warnings: Emotional abuse, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, obsessive behavior

Summary
Jecka thought she had enough problems as one of a handful of survivors from the night Kylar went postal and shot up one of the Kelly's parties, only to wake up in the hospital with a fucked up hip and a dead best friend. But one year later, here she is waking up with the hangover of a lifetime... And said ex-best friend floating next to her bed, just as bitchy and hard to pin down as ever. And also apparently a demon now. Whoops.
Now Nicole wants her to make a contract to get her out of Hell on a more permanent basis, and all Jecka wants is to keep her head down and ride out the last three months to graduation so she can head for the west coast. Which would be a lot easier if someone didn't seem to have it out for the survivors... And if Nicole could stop trying to seduce her. Questionably.
