Summary
Izuku Midoriya stood battered and broken on Katsuki’s pristine balcony. Dust and dried blood falling off him and settling onto the wooden floorboards. He looked defeated, his usual bright green eyes were dull and empty and his signature Hero Deku smile was nowhere in sight.
Katsuki approached him in much the same way you would a skittish cat, slowly and carefully with your hand outstretched and small soothing sounds leaving your lips without you even realising. When Izuku didn’t move away, he wrapped him in a tight hug, holding the back of Izuku’s head firmly with his hand. He tried to push as much comfort as he could into that signal act, hoping that it would comfort Izuku in any way.
“I didn’t know where else to go,” Izuku whispered, collapsing into Katsuki’s arms, his body shaking with sobs wracking his already worn-out body.

The thing is, he’s still a virgin. It’s not like he’s shy. He just doesn’t want to waste his time with people who aren’t good enough for him. But he’s admittedly let his personal life fall by the wayside so that he could focus on being a big damn hero. Anyway, now that he’s finally thinking about it, it’s clear there’s only one person who’s worthy of being with him. His oldest friend. His rival. His permanent pain in the ass. The only hero alive who comes close to being Ground Zero’s equal: Deku.

Summary
While on his way back from visiting his mother for the weekend, Izuku gets hit by a quirk while apprehending a villain that leaves him in the body of an otter. With injured legs and none of his belongings, he tries to make it to UA to try to ask for help, but doesn't make it far on little legs.
Katsuki finds an injured, lonely otter outside an animal clinic. After getting his wounds dressed, he ends up taking his new furry friend back to the dorms with him where he plans to nurse him back to health and hopefully adopt as a pet of his own.
Unbeknownst to Katsuki, the otter is actually Izuku.
Chaos ensues.

Izuku perks up. “That’s a great idea. We’ll try to make ourselves sick of each other by the end of the month, and if we make it, it’ll prove we’re meant to be together.”
“That’s not what I—” Katsuki huffs, picking up a slice of toast. “Fine. You’re on thin ice anyway.”
It turns out breaking up is easier said than done.
