Three years later, a strange Eridian stumbles through the crowd with one mission in mind: Find Rocky.
OR: Grace dies from complications due to prolonged malnutrition before he and Rocky could make it to Erid. Several years after being given a human burial on the very planet he helped save, Grace claws himself out of his own grave – far less human than he should have been.

“Hey! I’m Aang! Gyatso. As in Aang Gyatso,” he exclaims, like a normal person who has never been overexcited a day in their life. “And you’re Zuko! As in Zuko Sozin!”
He’s not rambling. He’s seriously not. And Zuko definitely doesn’t look like he would like to be absolutely anywhere but here. In front of Aang. The same boy who isn’t getting a response right now.
Everything’s going totally fine.
He scratches his ear awkwardly and Zuko stares back, his face a striking representation of the distinct vibes a cemetery exudes. “So,” he begins rather gracelessly, “we’re paired up.”
Silence.
Or, Aang and Zuko are lab partners.

Summary
Grace is too late rescuing Rocky. When he finds the Blip-A again, Rocky is already gone, so Grace does the only thing he can think of, and he takes Taumeoba-82.5 to Erid himself. If he can't save Rocky, well, he might as well make sure his death wasn't in vain.
He's sick, starving, and has no Eridian native to introduce him, but he's going to save Rocky's planet no matter what. After that... he supposes all that's left is for him to die. He's nearly out of food and Yao's gun is still tucked away safely in the Hail Mary's storage.

"What is this?" Hakoda inquired curiously, taking the paper. Solok leaned his head close to get a look as well.
It was a wanted poster.
On it was the painted face of a rugged, angry-looking man who wore a fierce scowl. What looked like an ugly burn wound sat on the left side of his face, unfortunately large and evidently caused by a firebender. At the top of the paper, there was a prominent Fire Nation insignia, swirling in golds and reds.
Under the painting read 'Traitor to Sozen and our victorious nation. Wanted alive' and the listed reward for capturing the man.
A thousand gold pieces.
Hakoda blinked wide eyes at what he just read.
Bato grinned, dropping an arm around his shoulders. "This is our Tui and La given golden opportunity."
