When I asked him, he just blushed and said it was a secret. I was going through some of his old stuff and I found it in his closet and I think it’s for you.” Joyce told Mike.
“Me?” Mike’s tired eyes widened. He looked dumbfounded as Joyce handed him a dusty shoebox with a sticky note on it. It said ‘For Mike’.
“Yeah. He was really secretive about it. I think he was waiting for the right moment to give it to you and then, well… you know what happened.”
OR
Will dies in a fatal car accident and Mike is devastated. He doesn’t sleep or eat for days and all his hope and joy has disappeared. Until one day, Joyce gives him a shoebox of letters that Will had written for Mike when he was in Lenora but had never been sent.
