Summary
Donna doesn't recognize the man who comes for an appointment with Harvey. A Mike S-Ross seems to be far too comfortable in Harvey's office and there's a mess of post-it notes.

Summary
Later that day, Mike finds himself doodling on his legal pad. He can’t stop thinking about the thick black patterns, the delicate lines, the dramatic letters in half-revealed words. He knows he should not be obsessed with the parts left unseen (too late) or his boss at all (way too late), especially after that cab ride, but the ink is also permanent in Mike’s persistent memory.
Or, Harvey keeps leaving Mike speechless. Until he doesn't.

Summary
Eyes still closed, Mike manages to anchor a hand to the curve of Harvey's neck, holding him in place for a lurching kiss that, despite the awkward angle and Mike's pungent morning breath and almost seven years of marriage, never stops feeling like pieces fastening wondrously into place.
Harvey hesitates for only a beat before giving in. It's only a formality, really, a few moments later, when Mike nips playfully at Harvey's lower lip with a single word— "Stay."

Summary
New Year’s eve is all about making a future; a promise to keep all to yourself. And Mike vows to make this one count. If he managed to fuck up all years before this – well, maybe all years before Harvey hired him – then he’s definitely going to make up for it tonight.
When the clock strikes midnight, he’s going to kiss Harvey Specter on the mouth. Hopefully.

Pearson Hardman's annual new year's eve party might sound like a grand old time, but Mike has other plans. Other plans that might make or break him. There’s too many variables here, too many things that can go wrong. Fuck, maybe he should just go home.

Summary
He needed to say something—anything—to clear the air before it became an even bigger elephant in the room.
"About last night..." Mike began, his voice hesitant.
Harvey glanced at him, his expression unreadable. "What about it?"
Mike fidgeted, his gaze dropping to the counter. "The kiss. That was—it was a mistake."
Harvey’s hand stilled on the machine, and for a fraction of a second, something flickered across his face. Mike couldn’t tell what because it was gone as quickly as it came, replaced by Harvey’s usual mask.
