“Hey, guys! Have you seen Captain Yami? I already checked the toilet but he wasn’t there,” Asta asked as he turned the corner to see Charmy, Vanessa, Gordon, and Finral awkwardly hunkered down outside Nacht’s room, all vying to press an ear against the door.
“Shh!” all four of them shushed, fingers to their lips.
“What are you guys doing?” Asta tried to whisper, crouching down with them.
“Yami-san’s in there,” Finral explained, pointing a bit unnecessarily to the door.
“Oh, good! I was looking for him—” Asta started to stand.
“No!” Finral hissed, yanked him back down.
“Don’t you dare interrupt them,” Vanessa warned, pressing her ear to the door.
Asta frowned, not understanding what the big deal was. “Because it’s bad…manners?” he tried.
“Yes, it’s very bad manners to interrupt someone when they’re making love, Asta,” Finral scoffed.
“When they’re what?” Asta screeched.
“Shh!” everyone hissed in unison with an emphatic glare.
“When they’re—they’re—they’re…” Asta stammered, face heating. “With each other?”
Everything is a giant misunderstanding.
