Summary
“We’re in the same hotel,” Ryan continues. “I’ve got a room. I thought you might want to talk more about how I’m ‘predictable’.”
Reid stares at him for a second longer than necessary. “You inviting me over?”
“Depends,” Ryan says, tilting his head. “You gonna come?”
There’s a stutter of breath, and Ryan concludes that he doesn't really mind that his comment came out that way.
“We’ll see,” Reid says. "Don’t get your hopes up.”

Summary
His hands stop their desperate attempts at getting free, and instead, find the sides of Naim’s face. Naim’s concentrated and furious expression falters a bit, looking bewildered as Ryan starts to stroke his thumb along his cheekbone.
It could be the oxygen-deprivation, but Ryan wonders, for a moment, that maybe The Thing craves gentle affection too.

Summary
The plastic knife handle was uncomfortably warm.
At this distance, Naim could see the soft blue of his eyes, and he wanted this to be real so badly that it tore up his heart and made up his mind. "Do you still... want me?"
Ryan stared at him intensely, reading his expression. "I will never stop. Nothing can make me stop."
In which a guilt-ridden Naim is desperate for forgiveness, no matter what it looks like.
