It was already looking like a beautiful May morning when a translucent figure shimmered into existence just outside the gates to Button House Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa. Major Anthony P. Havers (dec’d) hovered there, hesitating. He’d seen absolute hell while fighting in the Second World War, but somehow he’d never felt more nervous than at this precise moment.
Note:
This story is set from the time period right at the end of Ghosts (TV 2019) series 5. I’ve guessed that to be about 40 years in the future (so, 2064), which would mean the Captain and Havers last saw each other 119 years ago (in 1945, when the Captain died).Inventory of items in Higham room follows the story as an End Note.

When Aziraphale wakes up, the first thing he registers is the warmth against his back. There’s an arm slung over his side, and he’s nestled into a rather comfortable bed, his head resting on a perfectly plump pillow.
He knows where he is. He remembers everything, of course. But it’s also a bit like a haze. As if the memories of his current life are being pushed away to make room for the memories of his previous life. The life he thought had ended. Or, well, he didn’t think, did he? For years he’s just existed as this … Asa.
