__________________________________________________________________When it’s Stiles who gets bitten instead of Scott in the woods, he doesn’t expect to be transported to an alternate world, stripped naked, and asked to verify everything he’s ever said in life—he’s said some pretty stupid things.
The Time Variance Authority, the keepers of the Sacred Timeline, rip him out of his reality in Beacon Hills and give him an ultimatum: He helps them find a dangerous variant—an individual who’s escaped their correct time, just like him—or he gets “reset” on the spot.
Stiles does the only sensible thing he can think of in this situation—he questions what credentials he even has for this kind of job.
It turns out the Variant is him.
A version of him from another dimension. Beyond a maze.

_____Saebyeok and Jiyeong try to find a way to survive the marble game together. But even if they live, Saebyeok doesn't think she'd make a good alpha. Jiyeong doesn't mind taking the reigns a little and reassuring her, omega or not. They make the most of their time alone in that maze of houses, finding comfort in each other's bodies as time runs out.
Society would never approve of a fem alpha/fem omega pairing, but society never approved of them anyway.

Summary
Nuclear war, radiation, and toxic gas had poisoned the planet. The hundreds of millions who died fighting in the Third World War were nothing compared to everyone who died afterward from hunger, toxins, and diseases. The war had lasted 31 years and only 15% of the global population had survived. And survival was becoming more and more difficult: the earth had turned to desert, the rivers dried up, the forests died, and food was running out almost as quickly as gasoline. Then came the invasion, the monsters who descended from the sky and infected everyone.
Those few who had not yet been infected had to stay in constant motion, in search of gasoline, water, and food—fleeing, always fleeing.
