Summary
When Alastor suggests hypnotizing Vincent, Vincent’s initial reaction is to laugh at how ridiculous the idea is. When he’s talked into the idea, Vincent still thinks it won’t work. His mind is too strong. Magic isn’t real. Hypnotism certainly isn’t a thing. Vincent stares at the pocket watch in front of him with full belief that he’s going to sit here for two minutes and then be done with it. All of the sudden—he’s waking up the next morning with perfect clarity on all of the embarrassing things he was made to do.

Summary
Alastor has had sex before and even enjoyed himself. It just usually feels like too much effort and mess for comparatively little payoff. There are other carnal pleasures he finds vastly preferable. The juicy, supple give of flesh beneath his teeth, the satisfying crunch of bone. The smooth burn of brandy on his tongue, the heavenly escape of classic jazz. The scrape of his antlers and the stamp of his hooves as he marks his territory. And Vox, of course.
Somehow, always, Vox.
They have an arrangement that meets the physical desires of Alastor's sadism and Vox's masochism just fine. That's all they need.
Until Vox skips a weekly appointment with Alastor in favor of another partner.
