Summary
He looked down at his fingers and noticed the yen bill but also a receipt for a pack of cigarettes that he managed to swipe off of him. He crumpled up the receipt before he clutched the yen and coins in his hands.
Taking a deep breath he allowed himself to relax.
He immediately tensed up once more once he heard the sound of a sword unsheathing. Leaping to his feet swiftly he turned back on his heel in a defensive manner. It was the older man that he stole from. A slightly surprised grin covered his features as he drew his sword out.
“Impressive, you’re nimble and have good hearing.” The man said as he drew up his sword to the white-haired boy’s neck Atsushi felt his entire skin prickle and tense up and fall back against the concrete.
Looking up at the man he saw the red police uniform he was wearing.
Fuck.
Atsushi had stolen from the police.
