Jimin doesn’t say anything at first, not even sure if Jungkook will remember him. But the sight of him seems to trigger a memory. Jungkook pauses once he meets Jimin’s eye, and his forehead creases in thought.

Jimin looks surprised by the sudden loud outburst in the relatively small hallway. He jumps back a step, looking at Jeongguk with wide eyes, the realisation slowly dawning on him as he looks back and forth between Jeongguk and Jeongguk’s front door.
“Wait, wait- you’re the miserable ahjussi who lives next door?!” he exclaims, pointing an accusatory finger at Jeongguk.
“Ahjussi?”
Jeongguk’s jaw drops to the floor.
