Summary
So he follows Cypher like a dog after its owner, largely unaware of the specifics of his surroundings. They bump shoulders as they walk, neither trying to maintain any distance from the other. Sova doesn’t really know how to feel about it, so he doesn’t feel anything about it at all. It’s nice. It’s certainly not what he expected to happen when he left the party however long ago. Maybe he does not mind Cypher’s company as much as he used to.

Summary
Grian nearly growls in frustration. His hand comes to rest on his pistol, but he doesn’t unholster it. “Have you got any weapons on you? I’m starting to think I should be more worried about you than you of me.” He says it lightly, wrapped in a joking tone to not betray how nervous he’s starting to feel.
Scar shifts closer again, close enough that the few knives at their feet are all that separate them. Grian’s hand tenses on his gun. He can’t hesitate when he needs to. “Of course, I do! Nowhere near as many as you do, though, Outlaw.”
It’s hot, sweaty, and dry, but Grian shivers. He pulls his gun but doesn’t squeeze the trigger, meeting Scar’s eyes over the barrel now. With a rough voice, he demands, “Take them off, then.”

Grian is a low-ranking priest in the Church of the Watcher, and he's never questioned the family who raised him. Summary

It was never his plan to work with an asset. Even further from his plan to work with one of the most unstable assets in their organizationー but luck has never really been on his side. And now Cypher has been Sova’s eyes for as long as the asset can remember, his guide, informant and handler.
But Sova has begun to unravel. Cypher can feel his regrets weighing heavy around his neckー and the noose has begun to tighten.

Summary
Sova isn't the type of person to do this. He's never gone clubbing or dancing, nor has he ever drunk this much in public, but desperation leads people to the most peculiar of circumstances. It's worth it though, he ends up thinking, when he runs into a stranger that left him wanting more.
If only he knew.
