Your morning had started off normally, a cup of orange juice and a couple of slices of toast as you looked over your bills and the latest news. Same old thing you did every morning, nothing fancy or complicated.

"Me and kids don't mix. I let other people take over when dealing with them."

Manato gives a light laugh, humorous but unaware with the way it makes your heart sink. "I wouldn't even know where to begin with them."
Maybe it really wasn't meant to be, then.
