Summary
I don't imagine that this message survives to you who reads this, from whatever country you may be from. I have sent it into a small bottle and thrown it out to sea. I know it's a futile thing to do. But perhaps the gods will push the message along with the lapping waves of the harsh sea between us and bring me and my message to your weary fingers and listening ears.
I don't believe stating my name or my status will do anything for me but bring me shame for my actions. And so I will remain anonymous as a result.
This is just meant to be a recollection of my feelings.

Hector shut his eyes.
"You cannot," Apollo grinned.
Hector's mouth fell open.
"You scorch me," He gritted his teeth.
Lord Apollon smiled, "Have you made your choice?"
"Is there any other way?"
"Are you willing to risk your honor?"
The mouth of the eldest prince went dry.

Summary
"So? He's uglier than Odysseus," Clytemnestra said, trying not to let her smirk leave her face.
She had seen Penelope get closer to him, watched as his eyes never left her veil as she passed by with the two of them.
Penelope stared at her, the gleaming of her eyes turning around and around as she wondered. Suspected.
And Clytemnestra couldn't help herself. She let her smile slip.
Helen giggled, lifting her head, "Do you have anything to tell us, Penelope?"
"No," Penelope said, quickly, her face turning red. "Nothing at all."
"Oh, come on now!" Helen turned now, grinning wide. "What's this look on your face?"

Summary
She did not feel anything cold nor metal in her hands.
The sea sung an old, harsh song as it pulled up and against the shore before returning to its home, leaving only to return again after a short stretch of time.
Something felt strange. Something felt wrong.
The harsh pelts scratched the back of her neck.
Penelope opened her eyes.

Summary
Hector opened his arms and they met in the middle, tangling each-other in their long, lonely limbs.
Her husband took her in his strong arms and spun her around and around, gripping onto her tightly. Andromache wrapped her arms around his neck, gripping tightly, sobbing like a maiden, laughing like a fool. Hector finally set her to the ground and they held one another tightly, hands coming all over, brushing ever corner of their skins.
Andromache kissed his lips, kissed him once and twice and again and again, only to make sure he was there.

Summary
Everyone had one; a completely unique symbol, bestowed by the fates at birth, that they shared only with their partner, their soulmate, whether they had met them or not. Exclusive and personal.
It had been ten years since Odysseus had last seen this symbol, smaller and less distinct on the shoulder of his baby boy. The spikes of a laurel crown, split in the middle as if cracked in half. A broken crown, devastatingly familiar, perched right on the freckled hip of Achilles’ son.[soul mark au; odysseus is tortured by the knowledge that his son's soulmate is none other than neoptolemus, son of achilles]

Summary
“But don’t you want to marry me?” he asked, enough of a lilt in his voice that he could beg off as teasing need be.
Penelope was too sharp to be fooled by his tone. “I believe it’s my father you’ll be needing to speak with about that.”
Or: Penelope is used to being outshone by her cousin Helen, and even Clytemnestra. Odysseus is used to having things go his way, through luck or cunning. They never realized that meeting each other would undo all of that, and themselves.

Telemachus feels like there’s yet another stranger in their home.
He knows it's his father. He knows that the man is Odysseus, finally back home after twenty years. He knows that the very palace he calls home was built by this man, brick by brick. And yet he can't shake the feeling that he doesn't know this man.
or;
I have been going insane about Odysseus and Telemachus' relationship after he returns and had to get my thoughts out. They're both hurting and their relationship is complicated, but they'll find a way to make it work.
