Summary
There is a second too long of silence, but Ms. Moon can’t help it. Black Cat isn’t supposed to be here. They haven't talked since-since-since... Since when? Felicia’s figure flickers, staying in the same pose, but changing her outfit in its entirety from her slick black dress to a catsuit with a fuzzy collar. The background flickers from the warm city to a small metal elevator tunnel.
Black Cat’s eyes stare down at her, undressing Ms. Moon's soul with her eyes, in a way that is so familiar. Detective Moon blinks as she stares back at Black Cat.
“What cat got your tongue?” Black Cat says lamely. Ms. Moon tries to place what just happened, it's on the tip of her tongue, like a dream she just can't remember, but the feeling, the flash of something that was just right there, it’s gone.
And yet, being this close to Black Cat, staring back at those haunting eyes, she misses it, she misses her.
AKA: what if the dreamscape actually used the people in Cindy's life to make the whole thing a lot worse

“Huh,” MJ says with a sip of her drink. They’ve known each other long enough to get straight to the heart of it. “You two are getting kinda serious, aren’t you?”
Felicia tilts her head to the side and smirks. “As much as time and our history allow us.” Felicia can feel the faint blush on her cheeks. Felicia spins the wooden stick in her coffee cup. “Actually, we are going out tonight. A fancy event she got invited to because of her job.”
MJ lets out a loud chuckle. Her eyes twinkle as she smiles. “Nice to see you smitten again.” It’s a teasing remark, but knowing their history, knowing them, it means a lot.
“Oh, shut up,” Felicia laughs. “Let's hope this one lasts. Black Cat luck and all.”
AKA: Felicia loves Cindy and Cindy loves Felicia, but having alter egos is hard.
