Summary
"A fragment of a god's essence is a powerful thing."
The final battle against Elgar'nan ends in catastrophic failure but before death can claim Rook for itself, another presence comes to her aid. The fragment of Mythal that she still carries with her offers one last option to fix this mess: go back in time with her and stop Elgar'nan and the others from using the Blight in the first place.
Now Rook will have to play her part as a seer in this dangerous game, guided by the goddess now attached to her. But convincing the gods of the folly of their plans is a monumental task, especially with a leader like Elgar'nan, whose arrogance knows no bounds.

Summary
“Had you waited a minute longer I would have told you how futile any such attempt on my life would be,” he murmured above her, the smile returning once more. It was then she saw them—his fangs, gleaming in the eclipse light, far too long for any elvhen mouth.
“We discovered old magic back then,” he went on. “It made us stronger. Immortal in every sense of the word. Invulnerable to almost anything.”
He leaned closer.
“And all it asked in return was a change in our… appetite.”

Solas' antiquarian shop harbors more secrets than even he is willing to admit. When Rook is left to guard it alone one quiet night, something stirs beneath the floorboards and what was meant to stay buried begins to wake.
She will soon learn that there are some doors that should never be opened.

Summary
Elgar'nan sees something that he wants, and no one can stop him from taking it.
She is reed-slender and soft-fleshed and moon-haired, her mouth curved to smile and her hands unscarred and uncalloused. She laughs easily, scowls fiercely, and wears every expression in between as if it is a strand of gemstones that she’d like to show off.
She is not Elvhen. She is barely an elf - their language sits like marbles in her mouth, consonants clacking together rather than singing. In some ways, Elgar’nan finds it endearing: like watching a halla take its first steps, still wet from the womb.

Summary
Long ago, Rook had been promised to one of the Dalish's absent gods. Decades of unanswered prayers came to an abrupt end with the Dread Wolf's fateful ritual. In its failure, that very same god Rook found herself wed to, was released to answer the old prayers and rituals -- yet His chosen is also the one meant to stand against Him.
Thus, Rook must dance the line between right and wrong even as it twists itself into knots -- torn between what her heart yearns for and what her team (and the world) demands from her.
Facing a cataclysmic decision, which will she pick?
Betrayal to her companions...
Or betraying herself?

Summary
Strahd is particularly observant. He's noticed the not-so-subtle ways Rahadin's eyes linger on him when the dusk elf thinks he's not paying attention (he's always paying attention) and the way his pulse quickens when at the receiving end of his rare praise. And Strahd, ever a lover of exotic and beautiful things, is very much interested.

Summary
“Despite my warning, I have felt you there at the edge of every dream, and now too, at the edge of waking.”
“I did not trespass upon you –”
“You have done nothing but trespass upon me,” Elgar'nan seethes. “Waking or sleeping, you are there.”
His hand flexes against her jaw, eyes searching as if he might unveil a hidden truth. “What magic has the Dread Wolf employed for his creature to pervade my every thought, to disrupt my every plan. You are nothing - and yet you are relentless.”
In the search for the lyrium dagger, Rook and Elgar'nan's dreams invariably intertwine. While Rook struggles with temptation, Elgar'nan grows covetous of the very being meant to destroy him.

Summary
Rook knew that killing Elgar'nan would help Solas in tearing down the Veil. Being betrayed by the dreadwolf too many times already, she decided to change the game in the final moment of her battle with Elgar'nan.
Instead of killing Elgar'nan and therefore destroying the Veil, she decided to imprison him in the fade prison instead. Her plan was - as always - just formed in the heat of the moment and not perfect, so she ends imprisoned together with the god of the sun and vengeance inside the fade. Now stuck together, they have to find a way to live with each other, if they like it or not.
