He ate two of the Oreos in the morning, bopped between more cases than he could count on two hands, took fifteen to eat half the sandwich and some grapes, got back to it until his feet hurt and his back was bothering him and he had sweat stains at his armpits, and then finished the rest of the lunch in the break room. He was ravenous, actually. Thinking about her making him lunch made him hungrier, somehow. He got a pack of donuts from the vending machine too, and drank his usual Red Bull too. By the time he got back out on the floor he was bloated and a little nauseous from eating so quickly.
Mel caught his eye from across the room and he blushed. Relax man, she just made you lunch.
