Sprout and Cosmo are similar misfits, rejected by their society, and find comfort in each other. Even if one’s an alien and one’s a human.
And one isn’t supposed to like aliens.

While this entire situation of infected toons attacking one another was already horrifying, Cosmo’s heat coming only worsened it. His legs wouldn’t listen to him, trembling uselessly beneath him. He swore that his suppressants were somewhere in this bag but he couldn’t remember if he had actually placed them there.
“Are you okay?” A voice asked from nearby.
OR
Gardenview University experience an ichor breakout. Cosmo manages to hide inside a private wing to a library but his heat suddenly starts.
