He wasn’t ignorant to what some of the other Blades got up to in their off time, and while he allowed it to persist, he never explicitly encouraged them.
But Keith was different. Even without a war to fight, the Blades’ work wasn’t over; but Keith operated like he was still on the battlefield, as if something still eroded the boy from the inside. Kolivan needed every Blade in prime condition and swore to assist in any way—as much of an open door policy as he could have.
