"A monster?" he repeated, sounding genuinely offended. "Oh, absolutely not. Monsters are not allowed in this house. Didn't he see the 'No Monsters' sign on the door?"
Nari sniffled, rubbing her pink nose with her free hand. Her eyes were still puffy and red. "It was a big one, Daddy."
