“Oh that’s fine. Run back to your new little girlfriend,” Atitaya said, waving Namaari off as she slipped herself off of her own log onto the floor, leaning in closer to the fire to warm herself.
“The one you refuse to introduce us to,” Freya chimed in.
“And won’t shut up about,” Thalia added.
Namaari had tensed at the mention of her girlfriend. She didn’t need to look at Raya to know that her posture had changed as her ears perked up, leaning in towards the fire at the other girls’ words. “Namaari has a girlfriend?” She heard Raya ask, fighting the urge to groan at the absolute delight in Raya’s tone. She looked towards her and found her with her head tilted, eyes twinkling in the light of the fire. Namaari cursed her girlfriend, taking in how adorable she looked and knowing that look meant trouble for her.
OR
Namaari and Raya have agreed to keep their new relationship a secret. But while hanging out with Namaari's friends, Raya learns her significant other has been telling her friends about her.

Raya looked up into Namaari’s eyes, and noticed that she had an unreadable look in them. The emotions there were unknown to Raya, and she blinked a few times, lips parting on just how beautifully they made those dark brown irises gleam. She wanted to ask what that meant, she wanted to ask Namaari what those emotions that she had never seen in her eyes before were.
