Summary
There's something blazingly incongruous about Remus in the wintertime. He's golden: sunshine and honeybees, caramel curls and freckles like dappled sunlight. Even his clothes seem borrowed, and temporary, as if he might've just thrown on an extra layer for a moment in the knowledge that his own innate aestival nature would be quite enough to stave off the worst of the chill. Something at home in long balmy nights, and mornings when the gardens teem with life and song. Wonderfully out of place in the winter: a happy visitor to the season, an ember in the frost.
Christmastime in the Cotswolds: cold hands, crackling fires, and Remus's indefatigable quest for parsnips.

Summary
Teddy turns the letters over in his hand.
“My advice though? You don’t even know if they’ll say yes. What’s the harm? I know you, and you’ll want to know the answer even if it hurts you. You’ll want closure… this’ll give you closure one way or another,” Harry says honestly and Teddy nods.
“You’re right.” He opens the lid and slides it in. “The worst they can say is no.”
“And if they say yes?” Harry asks.
“Well…” Teddy smiles over at him. “Then that’s where the adventure begins, right?”
***
Eighteen year old Teddy Black has never known his father, his only remnants of him being his pa's old journal and his middle name. When his best friend's wedding rolls around, and with his graduation party fast approaching, Teddy takes a risk in hope that he can mend his broken family.
With a bit of mental breakdowns, frenzied parties, and the ambiance of Abba music in Greece, what can go wrong? Well... maybe more importantly, what can go right?~

Summary
“I was,” Remus corrected, hitting each syllable like a nail. “Past tense. Whatever you’re trying to say about me, about us, that ended tonight.” The hand on the curtain tightened. “As of now, you and I are nothing.”
The silence that followed didn’t feel empty. It felt total. Sirius’s grip loosened. The fabric slid a few centimetres through his fingers before he caught it again, but there was no strength behind it now. The fight went out of his arms as if someone had reached inside and flipped a switch.
“But… I love you,” he said.
It came out small. For a boy who’d always worn confidence like a cloak, the words were shockingly bare. No flair, no bravado. Just a cracked confession, a final offering held out with shaking hands.
“You don’t do this to someone you love.”

Or after the prank, nothing is the same between the Marauders anymore: Regulus is ready to blow everything up for having left his brother in what are clearly the wrong hands (Evan and Barty in tow), Remus is a wreck, and Sirius is going down with him.

Summary
Remus Lupin is the softest, crankiest, swottiest string bean in wizarding Britain—all wool jumpers, anxious apologies, and a mortifyingly massive secret he’s convinced will ruin anyone who gets close.
Sirius Black is the exact opposite: loud, greedy, and determined to prove that Remus’s “problem” is actually the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
