Like Gangle's question was just the inevitable release of a pressure valve that had been waiting to pop for some time—and maybe that feeling itself deserved some introspection, but they weren't in any rush to get to that when they still had this situation to command their attention.
Gangle bit her lip, chewing as she mulled over Zooble's question.
"Do you want to try kissing?" she blurted out, then squeaked, burying her head in her hands again. "With me?"

Summary

Caine loves his new place alongside the other members of the digital circus troupe. Life has become much better as everyone seeks to build a home they can all enjoy, and the former ringmaster is all too aware of the trust he needs to earn back. After he hesitates about participating in a group activity, Zooble decides to help out in their own special way, leading to discussions of the past and a certain blue AI.
