A sigh shook out of Yuuji, defeated and fatigued, and he found that he didn’t care that he was at the mercy of Sukuna right now. That, somehow, more than anywhere else in existence, it felt the safest here, tucked away in a room he’d never seen, in a domain, nestled on the King of Curse’s lap.
The fingers that had been toying with his hair slipped down to cup his face, the slight scratch of those pointed nails familiar in a comforting way that he would have never anticipated.
“Vessel, do you wish to turn off once more?” Sukuna’s voice was soft, but it pierced through the emptiness of the room in such a way that Yuuji felt like it meant to encompass him whole, to drown him in the overwhelming waves of such a promise.
