Admittedly, all of Usagi was fascinating to him—“anatomy” and such. He’d always felt that they were kindred spirits of a kind, but he’d never looked this closely or paid this much attention to how physically different they were.
Most of the time, when he looked at his friend, he didn’t see a rabbit, he just saw Usagi. And comparably, being with Usagi always made him forget about his turtleness.
In this moment, however, the visual differences were all of a sudden striking, and he found himself rather drawn as he settled down and let his eyes touch more of the body in front of him.
