"Over text? Stupid fucker" Tobio starts, but seeing Hinata's eyes shining once more with fresh tears, he changed his tone again and truthfully continued, "he didn't deserve you anyway. You can do so much better."
Hinata looks his friend in the eye, and nods slowly, wiping the snot on his face with his sweater sleeves.

this was so moving. i have been in a time of my life where i have deeply struggled with some of the themes in this story, specifically grief and this really connected with me. the garden imagery was beautiful and even the author's notes made me shed tears at times. i really really really loved this so much. i'll carry it inside my heart.

Summary
