“I don’t need cheap tricks to beat you,” Joe yells – a bit too loud. There is usually press pretty close around. “Unlike you.” He lowers his voice slightly as he takes a step closer. “Anyway. We’re in the same fucking team. Maybe you could not sabotage me for once today.”
“I see.” That fucking smug smirk is back again. “What’s in it for me, huh?”
Nicky is leaning against the frame of the door, one hip cocked, an arm crooked over his head. He is the picture of nonchalance, as if they are not about to risk their fucking lives in a car going over 300 kilometres an hour. He’s wearing shorts and a T-shirt that seems a size too small. And he looks fucking – edible.
Joe’s brain short-circuits. There is no other explanation for the words coming out of his mouth.
“If you don’t drive me off the road, I will suck your dick afterwards.”

“Thank you, Joe,” Andy says.
“I, on the other hand,” Joe continues, “am as old as… a Bristlecone Pine. Or perhaps a well-preserved and striking Obelisk from the Axum empire, stolen by Mussolini's fascist soldiers in the 1930s, and finally repatriated to Ethiopia in 2002.”
“That’s weirdly specific,” Nile says.
“You should major in archeology this time, my love,” Nicky says.
“Mm.” Joe presses an absent kiss to Nicky’s temple. “There’s a thought. And I’m sure you aren’t suggesting it just because you want me to dress like that Indiana Jones.”
“Of course not. Though I would not object,” Nicky says serenely.

Summary
When lab monkey and definite not superhero Darcy Lewis does something incredibly brave and monumentally stupid, she saves the Avengers and the planet from all out destruction at the hands of Thanos.
