    “No, you muppet,” Ser Elmo snaps. “Targaryen, Velaryon, Strong bastard, I don’t care their names. The dragons are obsessed with each other and we will not get involved.”

     

    Aemond Targaryen and Lucenya Velaryon will not be seeing through their engagement… so the Great Houses would like to know why they’re refusing to wed anyone else.

    She's buried on a cold, dreary day in late January.

    That’s all Jon can seem to think about at the funeral. It’s too cold, the sky is too grey. Bleak and barren; there isn’t even snow. It’s an inane, intrusive thought. It could rain, at least, he thinks. The sky should weep for her. The universe should mourn.

    It doesn’t make sense. No matter how hard he tries, he can’t understand why anyone would murder Sansa Stark.

    She hasn't heard a single word about Jon Snow since they moved. She didn't think much of it then – hasn't thought once about it in the eighteen years since - but now it strikes her as strange. He and Robb had been best friends since they were in diapers, but once they moved, she never heard Robb talk about him again.

    She could call Robb and ask why, but she doesn't. Whatever the reason, it was nearly two decades ago and it doesn't matter. It has nothing to do with the case, or the murdered girls.

    “Right,” it's Theon's turn to roll his eyes. “And who would I...” he stops, frowns a bit, then tilts his head as he looks at her appraisingly. Something a bit like panic flares in her chest at his expression.

    “No,” she holds up a finger at him, like she's scolding one of the dogs.

    “But you're perfect."

     

    Or, Sansa agrees to be Theon’s fake girlfriend. She also gets to meet his new teammate - and longtime rival - Jon Snow.
