He barely parries you and you’re suddenly aware of something white hot in your chest. It blossoms out from your chest and to your arms, up to your neck and into your face. Your vision tunnels, black at the edges- sharp in the center. When you flashstep and strike at Dave next, you look at his face, at his eyes. Even with his shades on you can see the fear coloring his entire face.
