Summary
It starts off small, like seeing things now in different places than he remembers, or strong gusts of cold air chilling his bedroom when he swears that he shut all the windows in the house.
Then, Takemichi starts to hear and feel things that aren't there, the feeling of his hair falling and moving around despite the fact he was completely still, that he blamed on gravity because he didn’t want to think about what it actually was, the whispers of his name when he stands in the bathroom.
What these things are become undeniable soon enough, and Takemichi comes to know that he’s truly, and utterly, fucked.
Alternatively: Takemichi being haunted by those who’ve died.

The words make Qifrey flinch. If Olruggio focuses, he can remember him saying—

Oh, but Olruggio does not care. This man he loves, this silly man, so stubborn in his strange selflessness he is unable to see, is all Olruggio— is all Olruggio is. Were it possible, he would bury himself within his open ribs, and curl up there and never move again. His heart aches and his eyes water.
Or. Olruggio and Qifrey are stuck in a snowstorm, and Olruggio doesn't know why.
Qifrey is hurt.
What Olruggio does know, is how to fix it.
(It's not the first time he has to burn someone's wound shut.)
