Summary
“Suguruuu!”
Satoru waved enthusiastically from across the yard, then began to strut his way over to the tree.
“Let’s go out tonight.” He prompts with a grin, now standing over Suguru.
“Huh?” Suguru whispers, breath catching in his throat by surprise. It had been ages since the last time they casually hung out together; Too exhausted or too busy, these days. “Sure, yeah. That sounds fun.” he recovers, now wearing a reassuring smile.
“I was thinking, um, how about karaoke?” Satoru asked in a way that made Suguru briefly wonder if he had rehearsed this line beforehand.
“That sounds good. Is Shoko coming with us?”
“Nah, I figured maybe, it could just be you and me tonight.”
For the first time in a while, Suguru felt a light flutter of excitement.
OR
Finally realizing Suguru's decline in mental health, Satoru crafts a plan; what begins as a simple karaoke date becomes something more.
