Summary
Cypher has died a few times too many to be too bothered by being stranded, especially with someone capable of teleporting, but that doesn’t fix the problem of an engine unwilling to start. Having a ‘we’ll come get you tomorrow’ doesn’t fix much of anything either, other than making him feel less like he’s going to sit here uselessly while Omen finds help—Cypher is a man of action even when he panics, though action that work much worse than the ways he moves when he can make sure he can use the usual planned steps. This is both a situation where he can say it’s ’not a problem’ and a situation where he feels completely lost.
