Summary
“Sit.” Alhaitham demands, just a head between his thighs now, and Kaveh feels his gut twist in a delightfully weightless way that might embarrass him forever.
“I am sitting.” Kaveh retorts with his usual Alhaitham-aimed petty defiance, his voice light and airy and sounding so much more relaxed than he felt. Alhaitham’s hands slip from his back and around his hips, clutching at the tops of his thighs instead as if he might pull him down himself.
“On my face.”
or, Alhaitham has a tongue piercing and Kaveh doesn't know how to cope.

Summary
“You ruin me, you know that?” Varka groans, as he moves up the bed.
“That’s hardly my—” Flins sucks in a harsh breath as Varka pushes him back, toppling gracelessly onto sheets.
“The minute we got home, you undressed. You didn’t wait.” Varka grins, kiss and smile pressed to the crook of Flins’ knee.
“It’s no sin to want you, my Knight.” But Flins flushes. How pretty he looks, when he has been found out. Or rather, read well and understood. Varka loves it. He relishes in this feeling of knowing where Flins’ thoughts wander.
- Varka shows his devotion to Flins through the most intimate form of worship.

Summary
“What of mine do you ache for, husband?” Alhaitham finally asks.
“Your less infuriating hole,” Kaveh growls, “or will I find your lower mouth just as abrasive as the one you barb me with now?”
“With such a pessimistic attitude, your wedding band might be the last ring you ever penetrate."

Summary
As Neuvillette’s eyes flutter open, ocean blue irises softly glowing in the dim of Wriothesley’s workshop, he is reminded that there are multiple definitions of the verb, to dream. There is the unconscious kind, of course, that organic creatures experience in their exhaustion…
But there is a different kind of dreaming, too—one that even an artificial intelligence like him is capable of.
