Jisung blinked as he turned to look at Minho, the elder wearing an amused smirk as he stared down at him, his lip ring glinting in the light overhead. It was an innocent question, yet something Jisung had never expected to come from the older man.
“Uh,” Jisung said dumbly, “friendship. F-friendship and joy."
Minho hummed, twirling a single tulip stem around in his fingers that Jisung didn’t realize he’d been holding. “Am I not joyful enough, Jisung-ah?”
(or: Jisung unintentionally courts Minho, who he's been pining over for as long as he can remember. Maybe it's a little intentional.)

"I'm gonna miss you so much," he told you as he pulled you in for a hug. It was as bone-crushing as always, his face nuzzling into your neck, as did yours. You breathed in his scent for one last time, but by now, you swore you'd never forget it. Even if it meant buying his shower gel for the rest of your life.
"I'm gonna miss you more," you replied as you pressed your forehead against his. "Please become super famous, and kick some ass on the way."
"I will," he agreed with a light laugh as he finally let go of you completely.
Immediately when Felix disconnected from your body, you felt cold. A shiver went down your back as your mom came to your side. She put her arm around you to hold you up. Apparently, she noticed your legs were close to giving out. You weren't used to her showing this much affection, but you were thankful she did at that moment.
When Felix handed his boarding pass over to the steward, he turned around one last time. There was a big smile on his face as he opened his mouth for the last words he'd be speaking to you for years. Though, at that time, you had no idea that he would soon break his promise of talking to you every day.
"I love you. Forever."
