Summary

He's on a sure path to self destruction until Remus, a temporary worker hired for the peak of lambing season, sets him in a new direction. But Remus must leave the farm, and Sirius's life, after only a week, and he won't say why.

Remus lives a lonely, exhausting life working any job he can find and never staying put for more than a few months at a time. When he takes a week-long position at the Black & Sons sheep farm to help out during lambing season, he ends up finding a kindred spirit in the farmer's son. But he has to leave when the week is up, and that might just be his undoing.
