Summary
Viktor always became so animated when he was theorizing. Jayce felt that it would provoke fondness if he hadn’t only just met Viktor today. Fondness seemed like something that required history with another person.
“I’d love to stop a reaction midway through, if possible. Just to see what its relationship with time is - it seems a little cyclical to me. Like a loop.”
Jayce appreciated the scientific insight, always, but felt decidedly too exhausted to actually formulate fully-formed experiment ideas. “Sounds like you’re making a time machine.” He joked. He looked over at Viktor to see his eyes sparkling with what could only be described as schemery.
Jayce was definitely feeling fond.
