Summary
“His name is Reginald,” Buck said, unable to keep a note of annoyance out of his voice.
Ravi whistled. “Sounds fancy. You gonna go out with him?”
“You guys are the worst,” Eddie grumbled, but he was smiling. Smiling because Reginald, a hot British man, had asked him out only an hour after Buck had tried to tell him how he felt.
And there was also the fact that Reginald looked just like him. So somehow Eddie was attracted to Buck, but … not attracted to Buck. Buck couldn’t decide if this was a good thing or a bad thing. If Eddie stood them next to each other, would the problem solve itself? Or was it that stupid accent that made Reginald infinitely hotter and therefore removed any possibility that Buck could ever get Eddie to notice him that way?
“Well, are you? Because if not, I might,” Harry said, which caused everyone to cackle.
“We’ll see,” Eddie said, but the sparkle in his eyes said it all.

Summary
“You really showed up here after hooking up with someone? And you didn’t even shower?”
“W-what?”
“You reek of omega, Buck.”
“Eddie, I … no. That’s not … I didn’t hook up with anyone.” [...] “It’s me. You’re smelling me.”
“Nice try, but you’re an alpha, Buck. I know what an omega smells like, and this scent is strong.”
“Not anymore.”
“What does that even mean?”
“I’m not … not an alpha anymore, Eddie.”

Summary
“We're not a couple,” Buck eventually spat out.
It was the truth, but he ignored the way the words felt like poison in his mouth.
“This morning at breakfast I watched you feed him a strawberry,” Chimney said.
Buck glared at him from behind the couch. “It was a perfectly platonic strawberry feeding.”
“If it's so platonic, feed me a strawberry right now,” Ravi demanded.
“I'm not going to do that,” Buck responded.
“And why not, Buckley?”
Buck threw his hands up. “Because you're allergic to strawberries, dumbass!”
or: Buck feeds Eddie a strawberry and then acts totally normal about it.

“And you’re gonna do that, where? At the 133?” Buck avoids his gaze. “Or you’re just transferring to a random station where nobody knows you and you can pretend you’re fine?”
“I’m going to the 217,” Buck finally says.
“You’re…” Eddie starts, then scrunches up his nose in confusion. “Why would you even want to–”
Oh no.
Oh hell no.
“Are you fucking serious right now?”
Buck doesn’t say anything, doesn’t even look at him.
“Buck.”
“What.”
Breathe, breathe, brea-
“No, no fucking what. You know exactly what.”

Summary
Buck’s not sure if the wetness on his face is just the rain or if he’s crying.
“Buck!”
Eddie’s voice makes Buck stop in his tracks and his breath catches in his throat. He turns around and sees Eddie running towards him and he’s getting closer and closer and Buck just really cannot face this right now, so he turns back around and starts sprinting.
“Buck!” Eddie yells again, this time sounding exasperated. Buck speeds up.
“What the— Buck!”
Why is Eddie making this so difficult?

Summary
Eddie's plan was going to work, it should have worked, but it all fell apart when the mystery caller was outbid by a mystery man. Now Eddie should be panicking just as he had been before he walked out on the stage, but he just isn't, and that could mean nothing, or everything. And Eddie's straight anyway, so it's hardly even a date, more like hanging out two bros, but when it doesn't feel like that, Eddie begins to question everything.
Bucks not jealous, he’s not. He couldn't have afforded Eddie anyway. It's one date, and it's for charity. But when that one date turns into a second, Buck finds himself questioning if Eddie really is straight and if Maddie had been right about him all along.
OR: Maddie loses the bidding war on Eddie in 9x11 to a man, and Eddie finds himself 'forced' to go on a date with a man, leading to endless spiralling

Summary
“This isn’t my life!” Buck exclaims. “This is not how it’s supposed to be. Abby is supposed to be gone. She’s supposed to have left. As in, left Los Angeles, not left me to marry Bobby. Bobby’s supposed to marry Athena.”
“Cap and Athena? But she’s—”
“Married. Yeah,” Buck huffs. “Like I said, that doesn’t work out.”
“Because Real Michael is gay?” Eddie asks skeptically.
“Real Michael is gay,” Buck confirms.
OR: After his break up with Tommy, Buck falls asleep on Eddie’s couch and wakes up in a world where Bobby is married to Abby, Hen and Karen are divorced, Athena and Michael are faking a happy marriage, Chim has a daughter that is not Buck's niece, and—just to really, personally fuck with him—Eddie and Maddie are engaged to be married.
