Summary
Now that Lando and Oscar have made their way through the tumultuous end of the 2025 season, coping with Lando's status as an age-regressing submissive, and their new fated bond, they need to start from scratch and build a relationship and life for themselves that will serve them in the long term. They can't do it alone, pulling themselves out of survival mode and setting up a foundation that won't just get them through the 2026 season but will carry them forward indefinitely is not an easy process, but Oscar needs to prove to Lando that it is worthwhile, that he is worth it.

"He was really close to you, don't you think?" Lando cleared his throat, now sitting closer by Oscar. He was now messing with the younger man's hands instead of rubbing at his feet. It was like he was trying to persuade Oscar to stay or something with his hands. It was weird.
"He liked you." The older man said extremely sure of what he was saying. That guy had to have liked Oscar. He looked like he wanted to take a bite of him-- like he wanted him. It drove Lando up the wall all day, watching as the man from PR chasing his partner around practically begging for attention-- it wasn't all in his head. Other people had to have noticed, right?
"Lan." Oscar's eyes narrowed. The older man was squeezing the others hand quite hard now. This was jealousy. Definitely jealousy.
