Summary
The biggest betrayal of the Sunshot Campaign was undoubtedly when Zewu-jun sold the information about the battle resulting in the deaths of hundreds of soldiers, most of them Nies, in exchange for Gusu's return to his hands. Even so, the Campaign was successful, and so the cultivation world demands repair. Even with the punishments, he cannot be trusted to go free. Thus, Lan XiChen finds himself in an arranged marriage with the person who possibly hates him the most in the world: Nie MingJue, his ex-fiancé.
