Summary
Both he and Sukuna were covered head to toe in yellow pollen, bits of it still drifting from their uniforms every time they moved.
“What happened?” Ijichi rushed towards them frantically. “What is that and why are you covered in it?”
Megumi’s head pounded.
Sukuna shrugged casually. “Flower exploded.”OR
A flower explodes. Megumi and Sukuna take the brunt of it.

Summary
Ignorance can be bliss. The weight of knowledge is bone crushing, burden so heavy it would make joints ache, bow heads down and pressure backs into painful arches of submission for decades and millennia and eons. Or that was what Zenin's thought.
Or, Megumi defies the Zenin's and decides any other fate would be kinder than what they decide for him.

Summary
Under the bright glare of electric lighting, the finer details are already starting to fade. Faces, voices. The shape of each person and how many there were to begin with. Trees and snow and a dark sky hanging low overhead, cold mud trampled underfoot, all of it unraveling like a tapestry being unpicked until only the raw emotion of it is left.
Rage. Anger. Longing.
Grief, like nothing he’s ever known.
The cold water on his face helps a little, the shock of it taking some of the sharpest edges off, but even then, it’s still enough to make Megumi want to fall to his knees from the sheer enormity of it. The feeling’s too much to hold inside his chest – it’s pressing up against his ribcage and crowding all around his heart, tight enough to choke. He would scream, if only he could stop sobbing for air.
Something’s been taken from him.
He’s lost it somehow, and even though he doesn’t have a name for it, doesn't know what or even who it is anymore, at the centre of it lies the glimpse of a truth that’s already retreating back into the dark:
Megumi will do anything to get it back.

Summary
The light from the large neon signs contrasted sharply with the profound darkness of the night. The tall buildings vanished into the clouds and the dense, yet occasional, layer of radioactive dust.
In 2097, Chimera Shrine, a company specialized in creating androids under the motto “more human than humans”, promises androids capable of replacing a loved one who had left to go to the Off-World Colonies, or who had finally succumbed to the effects of radioactive dust left by the war.
Ryomen Sukuna pursues answers about his brother's death while determined to keep Megumi by his side, on Earth and under Chimera Shrine. As the months pass, his grief twists into obsession, and terrified of losing him to a calculated proposal from an off-world colony, he decides to use the ultimate consequences of the dust as a last resort.
And if that doesn't work, Sukuna will rebuild him. Piece by piece. Memory by memory.
