However, firsthand experience of the treatment most people give the nightwatch, and a chance encounter with Lockwood and Co. have her reevaluating those goals... maybe she can do some good before she moves on...

Well written. Characters pretty canon-like, and of course canon-typical lack of care for night watch kids (they have no license, therefore they can't have any good weapon... while being sent to dangerous jobs - make it make sense!). It's a very good, realistic-in-canon-world what-if story.

Summary
It is the week after Christmas, 1991, but for Harry Potter that is no longer true. Instead, he finds himself stepping off the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross Station at the beginning of the Christmas hols. His parents greet him with hugs and Harry is drawn into a loving Christmas holiday at Godric's Hollow.
They have been dead for years but now they are alive-- and it's the best thing that has ever happened to Harry.
It is the week after Christmas, 1991, and Harry Potter gazes into the Mirror of Erised, unmoving. He will die, soon enough-- unless something is done-- for the Mirror has him in its power.

Very well written, and it's so nice seeing Luisa searching for hobbies. I'm gonna read the rest of the series.
