Summary
Savanna had always known she was painfully obsessed with women.
Her entire life semi-revolved around the women from the stories her mother told her, stories of women who conquered, quelled, revolted and loved. "Betee, these women don't come from thin air, they are just like you, and you are just like them." she would say, the pure affection in her eyes burning so hot it would sear into Savanna's mind forever. It was this love between girls, the bond between her and her aunties, grandmother, mother - any female figures, really- that fueled her.
Which is why she knew so early that she was also attracted to women. Only women.
