Summary
The late 70´s were a wild and crazy time at Degrassi. Teen pregnancies, doomed romances, bigotry and the drug-taking culture of those days are only some of the issues that face the students on a regular basis. The problems and hardships were many, but so were the many heartwarming stories of friendship and love from a period in time, where the disco balls were in high demand, sexual liberation was the order of the day and the emotions were flying as high at the school, as they ever would again.
This is a 44-chapter story that follows the 1977/78 and 1978/79 schoolyears over the course of two 22 chapter seasons and ends with an epilogue set closer to present day. It also includes a "Lost Episode", that I only recently rediscovered.
