As it crashed into the wood the spine of the glass snapped in two, the head shattering as it hit the table and wine spilling everywhere. Elain’s eyes flew wide in surprise. Heads began swiveling to him, and before anyone could see or scent the evidence of his arousal, Azriel gritted out one word- “Headache,” and rushed across the room and up the townhouse stairs, leaving wine to pool across the table and drip down the edge to the floor.

I wanted her to be a part of the Inner Circle for this story, so here she is. Also, Nyx doesn't exist because I was simply too lazy to include him.
