Summary
Shōto trips unwillingly into the rabbit hole of his own summer schedule at this, feeling his phone like a weight in his pocket where the collection of plans sits in his family’s group chat, heavy with a finality not present in the chat containing just his siblings’ frustrations at the loss of their entire summer. He misplaces the thread of Bakugō’s conversation to remember pieces of his own with his eldest brother—Tōya swearing up and down that if their father was forcing all four of his children to join the circus that a Todoroki family summer vacation would inevitably break into, he was going to bring his own clown, so to speak.
Powerless to stop himself, Shōto begins to piece together a terrible plan.
→ Shōto hires his friend for a deceptively easy summer job. Katsuki is nowhere near prepared for what he's agreed to.

Summary
He had seen the fliers around the art buildings, in fact, the library bulletin boards, for a show featuring a band that Shinsou had confirmed at least twice while extending the invitation passed just Midoriya and to Shouto, as well, was indeed called Merciful Destruction. The thought of wandering through the crowd assembled for a punk band’s show on a Friday evening was not something Shouto had considered in full, even as he was doing it, presently.

“Are you always this vulgar?” He asks, and Katsuki’s eyes fly open in time to see the briefest hint of a smirk turning up the corner of the stranger’s lips. He continues, “My name is Todoroki Shouto, and I work here, starting Monday, officially. You should have received an email about a meeting at some point, I’m sure. Hawks is out of town with my, well…” Todoroki pauses, considering his next words, “soon-to-be previous manager currently.”
Katsuki takes a selfish moment to absolutely seethe at Todoroki’s first comment, eye twitching in a not-unknown mixture of exhaustion and frustration. “First of all,” he begins calmly, “eat my literal ass, Todoroki, I think you said?” Todoroki’s smirk catches and swings to life, grows a bit more at this. Katsuki hates that this stirs something, somewhere cavernous within him.
→ Bakugou Katsuki is a very well-known choreographer. Todoroki Shouto is a popular and skilled back-up dancer.

Summary
Kakeru remembers the first time Haiji asked him to assist in making dinner for their teammates—he remembers the tension bouncing between them, still unsure of Haiji, and unsure of himself in Haiji’s presence, remembers the tiptoeing he did to avoid conversation for more than a few moments at a time, his short answers, subdued sounds of acknowledgement in response. Haiji was always friendly, but even then, Kakeru bristled.
