Summary
I really like writing snippets. They're so freeing- I don't need to bother with setup, character developement, worldbuilding; I just have a scene in mind and write it, and fill in the holes through the notes.
In my view, that's how they differ from oneshots. Those can work as short stories, and are reasonably self-contained, while snippets don't offer any of those same luxuries. In that sense, they are read without the expectation of a proper end, purely for the joy of momentary happenings experienced through them.

But not all conflicts are physical. He can't punch all of his problems away, and that makes him afraid, and he'd rather be angry than afraid- and so comes the violence again.

Summary
Samantha Stewart is not the Simurgh. This is obvious.
It is also obvious that she is not one of the world's most powerful telekinetics, precogs, postcogs, Masters, and Tinkers. Sam is just an ordinary human with an ordinary job trying to live an ordinary life where she may or may not be mentally coerced into transforming into a fifteen-foot-tall angel and decimating a major population center every now and then.
It is fairly obvious that she needs therapy, though. Losing her job doesn't help, and neither does getting caught in the middle of a violent cape battle. But maybe, just maybe, this means that Sam finally has the opportunity to do some good for a change.Soar is heavily inspired by Learning to Sing and lightly inspired by Case.
Full-Work Content Warning for major depression and self-hatred. Things will get better, but hoo boy do they start off bad.

Summary
In another world, one far removed from the main universe of BNHA, the heads of the League of Villains were fated for another path in life entirely. For years, the Shigaraki Detective Agency has operated in relative success, utilising the skills of its members and occasionally underhanded tactics to expose injustice and take down the occupants of Japan's speedier underbelly - for the right fee, of course.
However, when a routine investigation turns into a murder case, the Agency is to find their resources - and their morality - strained as a brutal and crafty serial killer seems to be able to outmanouvre them at every junction. In the end, Tomura Shigaraki may just find himself sinking to his lowest point in order to solve the case and put the elusive Hero Killer on the spot.

Very well executed magical realism, turning the My Hero Academia setting into something that feels a lot more street-level, where abilities are treated seriously and there are little-to-no anime physics.
The reimagining of the League as this close knit group was also well done, and I enjoyed All for One's depiction especially.
