Miyuki says he’s spending too much time trying to figure out something that doesn’t matter, but all Miyuki thinks about is baseball or Sawamura, so he doesn’t get to talk. Yoichi tells him as much.

Miyuki Kazuya, despite his age, was nothing if not observant—overly so, in fact.
He was confident in many things in life, and this was no different.
Every subject, every play, every person, every interaction, every thing in his life—it did not matter how big or small—he was so overly attentive that it was exhausting.
That was the reality that he lived.
And in that reality, the one where his brain was always on, always thinking and theorizing and predicting, he knew one other thing to be true. In that overworked noggin of his that was never wrong, it was just as obvious.
Miyuki Kazuya was also lonely.
